Hi, I will be reaching Edinburgh from London on 12th August and leaving Edinburgh to London on 17th August. As I will be travelling with my family (children - Age 10 & 6) I wanted to stay in any place in Scotland where we can enjoy the natural scenic beauty of Scottish highlands and also have some fun places/activities for children as well. I plan to hire a car and will like to do day trip. There is plenty of information in this guide book and I found it very useful in deciding where to stay in Scotland, however there are some distinct shortages of reviews in some places. So the book is best used in conjunction with a more comprehensive guide/5(4).
